General Terms and Conditions/Conditions of Participation for the Druid Camp 2024 (Mount Thunder Druid Camp)
Status: 07/03/2023

Organizer:
World of Linden EV
The camp is a private, non-commercial and non-public event to which we cordially invite bards, ovates, druids, as well as those interested and friends of modern druidism.

Services:
The organizer offers participation in the Druid Camp from August 15-18, 2024 in Waldhambach. Participation includes:
– Possibility to pitch your own tent for the night, the pitches for mobile homes and caravans are limited,
– the general catering, insofar as it was booked at the time of registration. The food offered is vegetarian. Individual dishes cannot be deducted. Meals can only be booked in full or not at all.
– the continuous free supply of tea, coffee and/or water.
Other drinks and snacks for in between can be brought along or bought from the organizer. Complete self-sufficiency is also possible.

The camping meadow is intended for pitching tents. Space is limited for mobile homes. There are no supply connections for water and electricity.

Registration and conclusion of the contract:
Registration is via the Welt der Linden eV website

Withdrawal Agreements:
The booking made can be completely or partially canceled or changed free of charge until March 31, 2024. Amounts paid will be refunded.

In the case of cancellations between April 1st, 2024 and May 31st, 2024, amounts paid will be refunded except for a cancellation fee of €50.00. After that, no refunds are possible.

Special agreements:
Open fires are only permitted in the designated areas.

6.2. Safety and Accessibility:
a) Smoking in the forest is prohibited all year round in Rhineland-Palatinate! Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas in the castle.
b) The castle is a ruined site on a hilltop with a steep, unpaved driveway. The site is not barrier-free and only suitable to a limited extent for wheelchair users and people with severe mobility problems. Please get in touch if this applies to you to check if we can make special arrangements.
c) There is a risk of falling on the site; not all walls and areas are secured accordingly. The paths are to be followed; Masonry may not be climbed. Children must be instructed and supervised by their legal guardians.
d) Approaching storm
In the event of an approaching storm (particularly storms, lightning, heavy rain), the site must be cleared and camping is no longer permitted; the organizer will try to find alternative accommodation. If the bad weather persists, the event will be canceled in agreement with the majority of the participants.
e) A first aider is available for accidents; if necessary, the responsible public rescue service is alerted.
f) Parking is not permitted on the access road to the castle.

6.3. Community, cleanliness and help from all participants
a) The campsite is not a hotel with cleaning staff. Everyone therefore disposes of their rubbish themselves in the designated containers. There are enough toilets available for physical needs – even during the night. "Wild peeing" in the forest or in the ruins is not desired. Children should be taught about this.
b) The help of all participants with the distribution of food, washing dishes, garbage collection and final cleaning as well as small auxiliary services such as erecting and dismantling tents or guiding services is good custom and is expected - according to a corresponding plan.
c) The organizer has domiciliary rights for the entire duration of the camp and may exclude persons who repeatedly violate the recognized rules and safety regulations from further participation. Paid contributions will not be refunded in this case.

6.4. Childcare:
Families with children are very welcome. If there are enough volunteers, we may offer a program for children from the age of 4 during the workshops, but there is no continuous childcare. The duty of supervision remains with the parents at all times (see above).

6.5. Livestock farming:
Pets that do not disturb and pose no danger to the participants can generally be brought along. Dog poop must be disposed of by the owner.

6.6. hygiene concept
We assume that there will be no corona-related restrictions. If so, we will publish the hygiene concept via the following link: https://www.druidencamp.de/hygienekonzept

6.7. data protection
About four weeks before the workshop date, we can send you the contact details of participants in your area on request so that carpooling can be organized if necessary. Please let us know if you do not agree to your address etc. being passed on. The data of children will of course not be sent.

Otherwise, address data from the registration form will not be passed on. However, it is planned to include the email address in the mailing list of the online magazine “Druidenstein” and the druidry.info newsletter. If you do not want this, you can object on the registration form.

By registering, the participant agrees that press photos - for the Druidenstein and www.druidry.info, www.druidencamp.de - on which he is recognizable may be published without further inquiry.
