Mount Thunder 2026

Mount Thunder Druid Camp 2026

A Gathering of Kindred Spirits

Join us for the Mount Thunder Druid Camp 2026, hosted by members of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD), from Thursday, July 30th, to Sunday, August 2nd, 2026, in the historic and mystical setting of Waldhambach.
We warmly welcome all who are interested in Druidry, regardless of grade, order, or membership—whether you are new to the path or a seasoned practitioner. The camp is a Gorsedd of Bards, an open and inspiring gathering for all who feel called to celebrate nature, wisdom, and ancient traditions.

Waldhambach, nestled in the southern Palatinate Forest, is ancient Celtic land, once part of Gaul and home to the Nemetes, who worshipped the goddess Nemetona. Some historians even link them to the legendary Nemedian people of Irish mythology, ancestors of the Tuatha Dé Danann. The region also played a key role in the modern revival of Druidry, with figures like the Benedictine abbot Trithemius embracing the title of Druid in the late 15th century.

Come and be part of this unique, nature-immersed experience—a space for learning, sharing, and deepening your connection to Druidry. We look forward to welcoming you! 🌿✨

A note on accessibility: The campsite has slopes and gravel paths, and the toilets are only partially accessible as they are relatively narrow. If this is a problem for you, please contact us. We hope we can find a solution or at least clarify whether it is suitable for you.
